The 2017 Maserati Quattroporte infuses technology with great design

The unforgivingly attractive Maserati Quattroporte has arrived for 2017, and it looks like one of the best lookers we’ve seen from the brand. The car brings a blend of great design and a handy assemblage of technology features that the Italian carmakers were formerly not known for. In addition to this, Maserati is also offering two new trim packages called the GranLusso and the GranSport. The former will offer silk fabrics, a body-color spoiler, and 20-inch Mercurio wheels, while the latter will leverage modified air intakes, a black spoiler, and 21-inch Titano rims.

The styling of the car has been inspired by the Alfieri coupe concept with a brand new grille and front bumper. Thanks to the aerodynamics the drag of the car has been cut by 10 percent as compared to that of its predecessor. The Air Shutter located in the grille can be adjusted electrically.

On the inside, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system greets the occupants with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. A cool new Driver Assistant System also takes residence in the new Quattroporte. Other cool technology advances include cruise control, lane departure warnings and forward collision alerts with brake assistance.
