The BMW X4 M40i sports the new game-changing M performance TwinPower Turbo engine!

When it comes to luxury and stability, all mixed into one package, not a lot of cars come close to the BMW X Series. These cars are known to churn out just about enough horses to tackle the asphalt as well as rougher terrains, while you sink into the luxuries on offer inside. Adding to the X4 lineup, BMW has unveiled a new addition to the series, the X4 M40i. This SUV is now the flagship of the X4 line. According to a press release by the BMW Group, the X4 M40i will set “new standards with even more keenly honed driving dynamics, a high degree of emotionalism and singular exclusivity.”

Below the hood, the car sports an M performance TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder petrol engine. This is the first time this engine will be used, and the petrol version is capable of producing 265 kW/360 hp between 5,800 and 6,000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 465 Nm. With this, the BMW X4 M40i is capable of touching speeds of up to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds, with a 250 km/h electronically limited top speed. On the outside, this SUV comes with exclusive 20-inch M light-alloy double-spoke wheels, Chrome Black tailpipes as well as eye-catching color accents. To complete the look, BMW has added the iconic M leather steering wheel and the M gear shift lever inside!
