The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is best known as “the best car in the world,” but the German automaker offers the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman as the Crème de la crème of the range – a flagship stretched limo created for the oligarchs and dictators of this world. After launching the S-Class facelift with plenty of mid-cycle updates, the German automaker has unveiled the ‘revised’ Mercedes-Maybach Pullman. In addition to the updated LED headlights and new shape for the front and rear bumpers found across the new S-Class range, the new Pullman a new grille to the front of its 6.5m-long luxury limousine. The restyled grille with shiny vertical struts is inspired by a pinstriped suit and was first seen on the spectacular Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6.
The updated Mercedes-Maybach Pullman arrives on new 20-inch alloy wheels with the same 10-hole design. In addition to that, Mercedes will now offer more color options including a new optional two-tone paint scheme. The interior can also be decked out in new shades such as mahogany brown, magma grey, and silk beige/deep sea blue. A ‘2 cabin sound’ audio system has also been added that allows independent music control of the front and rear passenger compartments. The new Pullman features a front-view camera that gives the rear passengers a view of the road even with the partition up. The S600 badge from the predecessor has also been swapped for S650. The 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 has been massaged to make 630 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque, 100 more horses and 125 more torques as compared to the predecessor, allowing a 0-62mph time of 6.5secs. The 2019 Mercedes-Maybach Pullman is available on order starting today with a base price of close to €500,000 (about $618,400).
