The Lexus LS 460 has been named the king of high-tech by the Telematics Research Group. TRG says that the LS will have more technology features than any other vehicle when it rolls off the production line for the 2007 model year. “Based on our criteria of 30 technology features in the areas of telematics, infotainment, and driver assist technologies, the LS-460 scores the highest of all vehicles.” says Phil Magney, president and principal analyst with TRG, in a statement. Special gadgets include the vehicle’s 30GB hard drive for navigation and music, 3 parking aid cameras, a 19-speaker sound system capable of reading MP3 and other media formats, Bluetooth, touch screen and voice-activated navigation, monitored telematics, live traffic reports and much more.
Lexus is not alone though as a luxury brand leading the technology charge – others mentioned by TRG in top rankings include BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac and Acura.
This luxury vehicle will definitely be priced over $50,000!
