The Ferretti Group is quite well known for its beautiful yacht designs. And furthering their flagship brand Riva, the brand is out with the new Riva 63’ Virtus that sports a unique Mediterranean persona, and is said to be the largest open yacht by the company yet. Designed with the help of best minds of Officina Italiana Design, which is responsible for design of the Riva range, the AYT – Advanced Yacht Technology which is Ferretti research and design centre and a group of architects and designer, the yacht is sporty yet comfortable. The spacious yacht offers two large sundecks, one at the bow and one astern which also houses the garage for the tender below it. The helm area sports a three-seater sofa that lets you steer the yacht with an audience for company.
The cockpit is just as comfortable with a fridge, sink and an optional grill. The cockpit also sports an L-shaped sofa, and another seating area can be found on the port hand side, while a third seating area near the cockpit comes “equipped with a system which slides and enables to move closer to the varnished teak table which has a flip up section”.
On the inside the yacht features a spacious salon with a large wooden table that can seat six people, without getting rid of the galley. The yacht is set in light hues of oak and darker leather colors that also sports lacquering for a more modern look. The master cabin at the portside astern sports a bed with a leather stitching. The guest cabin which is also at port-side mid-ship comes with bunk beds in an L-shape to give you a good view when sailing.
