While COVID has barred travel or got us highly anxious about it, Air France has decided to do just the opposite! In providing a virtual and rather compelling tour of its home country, the airline has recently introduced a new ‘safety video’, which will be screened on flights as of March 1, 2021.
One of the first videos of this kind to be introduced by the carrier, it showcases “elegant, lively, and fast-moving showcase of French culture,” and “symbolizes the essence of the Air France brand.” Two flight attendants can be seen explaining safety instructions across famous French destinations such as the steps of the Opéra Garnier, the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, the French Riviera, and the vineyards of Provence throughout the clip which ends with a view from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Commenting on it, Air France’s SVP of Customer Experience – Catherine Villar said, “With this new video, we are showcasing the best France has to offer in an emotionally engaging way. All our teams here at Air France are ready to welcome our customers and highlight this French lifestyle, which is so dear to us, as soon as they board our flights. We can’t wait to reopen the skies, flight after flight, with safety as our absolute and constant priority.”
