It was meant to be, sooner than later – a museum for perfumes. The Cue Le Grand Musée du Parfum will be located at 73 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, and cover a total area of 15,555 square feet. This location was until recently home to Christan Lacroix Couture’s headquarters.
The museum will have three main sections – with three periods in the history of perfumery – from the pharaohs of Egypt until today. There will be an interactive session where visitors can indulge in an olfactory experience, trying out up to 60 fragrances. It will also include a bookstore and a concept store when it opens in December this year. Olfactory fans cannot possibly miss this wonder of wonders.
