Asia’s first Steinway gallery and Porsche Design store come to Singapore

Singapore is brimming with glee at the introduction of two major luxury brands. While pianists are rejoicing the opening of a 1,600 sq ft Steinway & Sons gallery, it became the first Asian country for The Porsche Design Group at its posh Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Steinway was founded in 1853 by Henry Steinway. The brand was launched by luxury experts C. Melchers GmbH & Co. at the Palais Renaissance. It will offer an extensive collection of Steinway & Sons pianos and Steinway owned and designed Boston and Essex pianos, and the Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand Piano. It will also offer limited editions, including the Crown Jewel collection and the John Lennon Imagine series.

The Porsche Design Group provides an extended fashion collection for women and men and a separate viewing area for watch displays and a lounge area. The store is the first to adopt a global concept which will follow suit by other Porsche Design Stores from January onwards. This concept was created in cooperation between the Porsche Design Studio and architects Blocher Blocher Partners, Stuttgart.
