Bid for a Caribbean trip on the world’s largest luxury sailing catamaran, Hemisphere


It’s been five years since the Oceana’s Summer SeaChange party was conducted, and its fifth edition promises to be a whole lot of fun. The highlight of the year’s event will be the live auction of a 7-day Caribbean Charter aboard Hemisphere, which is said to be the world’s largest luxury sailing catamaran. Donated by Burgess for the charitable event, the auction will provide Orange County, California, a benefit that allows supporters to help Ten to twelve lucky sailing enthusiasts live the time of their lives. On offer, is 8 days/ 7 night in the Caribbean onboard the 145-foot Hemisphere, that will come with a crew of 10, complete with a gourmet chef and state-of-the-art accommodations. Your fun cruise will be taken care of by Captain Gavin Bladen, who boasts 8 years of diving experience in these waters, so you can get him to draw up a custom cruising itinerary.

The yacht built-in 2011 was primarily created for exploring the underwater locales. It will come with two PADI-certified dive instructors on board alongside a dive center placed within one of the catamaran hulls containing full sets of scuba diving gear (including Nitrox air) for up to 12 guests. Other toys on the vessel include two tenders, snorkeling equipment, wakeboards, paddleboards, a professional diving board, a trampoline, kayaks, windsurfers, water scooters, mountain bikes, and Seabobs.
