Emirates opens a luxurious lounge at LAX – Here is a peak

Emirates’ new lounge in the Los Angeles Tom Bradley Airport was inaugurated on 19th March, 2015. This lounge will join their other 36 lounges scattered all over the 6 continents and is open to all First and Business Class Emirates travelers. The airlines’ frequent flyer program, Emirates Skywards, Platinum and Gold members too, can access the lounge that seats around 157 customers in leather armchairs. The lounge area is lavishly decorated with walnut wood furniture, timber trellis work among other elegant furnishings and gold Rolex watches, which match the standards of Emirates Lounges worldwide. The lounge overlooks the duty free shopping area, where travelers can slip in to make last minute purchases or get their expensive double malt scotch and still make it in time for their flight.

At the bar, customers can choose to unwind and get ready for their journey with some premium spirits, wines or even a glass of champagne. The lounge provides complimentary Wi-Fi across the floor and has different sections, like a business center, one to watch TV and read, and a much quiet section cordoned off for prayer. Layover customers waiting to get onto the next leg of their journey can make use of the shower facilities to freshen up. In addition, customers with access to the lounge can also avail of the private chauffeured service to the airport as part of their many privileges.
