Emirates takes its alcohol seriously. And after decades of serving the best of spirits on board, the luxury airlines have now recently upgraded its Spirit’s menu to include one the best cognac’s that ever was – The rare Hennessy Pardis Imperial! The $3000 bottle will be served to first class travelers, along several new whiskeys, cognacs, gins, vodka and flavored liqueurs to choose from.
The new selection has been curated by an in-house team of experts who spent two years working directly with suppliers to come up with the upgraded offering. In total, the menu will now include 30 new spirits and liqueurs served across all classes, in addition to the pre-existing 80 fine wines and champagnes that are served across its network daily. For kickstarting the new feature, Emirates hosted a special cognac tasting on a flight to Paris last month, which was led by Mr. Alfred Tesseron, owner and Chairman of Tesseron Cognac. Drinks in first class will also include the Dalmore King Alexander III, the Belvedere luxury vodka; Johnnie Walker Blue Label Scotch whisky and premium Guatemalan rum, Ron Zacapa Centenario XO.
Business and Economy class passengers can further enjoy offerings such as the Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, Dewar’s White Label Scotch whisky, Beefeater gin and a cocktail upgrade that now includes the Negroni, Old Fashioned and Aperol Spritz. All said, Emirates sure knows how to keep our spirits soaring high!
