Airbnb is giving you a chance to experience that world-famous Scandinavian design aesthetic in the romantic city of Paris. Designer Linda Bergroth has created six modern residential cabins for a 100-day installation. The cabin has been named KOTI which means the home in Finnish. The spruce timber cabins are designed to accommodate 12 guests in private and communal areas. Guests can wear robes and slippers designed by Lapuan Kankurit for maximum comfort.
In the morning guests rise to enjoy a breakfast consisting of rye bread, Finnish berries, salted butter, and coffee on ceramic dishes. The entire cabin experience is intended to be a relaxing escape from city life, a place to leave behind everyday pressures and routines.
But that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing to do! KOTI will also host a number of pop-up restaurants, film screenings, concerts, and talks from January to May 2017. Cabin bookings are already open on AirBNB priced at $102 per night for a single cabin, $227 for twin cabins, and $363 per night for a family cabin with two bunk beds.
