For the love of hops – You can take a pub-crawl on a sea plane in Canada

If drinking beer and walking or driving around in the traffic jams kills the buzz for you, this exciting new tour is probably something that would appeal to the beer-lover in you. A well-known travel company by the name of Butiq Escapes has recently launched what it’s touting as the “most epic beer tour in the country of British Columbia.” And epic it certainly is, for flying you around in a seaplane and letting you guzzle beer all along the way!

The packages for the tour start at approximately $5000 per group, letting you and five other friends customize a day, overnight or weekend of experiencing B.C.’s burgeoning beer scene by air. Catered to specially provide a “a refined beer experience for those that truly love the craft.”, it includes a visit to Canada’s oldest brewpub and a surf-side pint in Tofino amongst a series of other pub sprints. For noteworthy beer producers being perched in Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and almost every other corner of the country, British Columbia is undoubtedly the preferred destination for a seaplane beer tour like this one!

Apart from the obvious stops mentioned above, the experience also includes visits to Spinnakers (est. 1984) 4 Mile Brewing Company and the acclaimed Driftwood Brewery in Victoria to Longwood Brew Pub and Wolf Brewing Co in Nanaimo along with a couple of other unique stops all along the way to make sure you see some of this beautiful province and get to taste some amazing food. Beer lovers, here another one for the year’s bucket list!
