Hong Kong tops the list of world’s most expensive office space

If you want a posh office in a posh locality in a posh area, move to posh Hong Kong. The city’s Grade A office space now charges an annual price of $192 per square foot, up from $142 from the year before. The statistics were released by Colliers International, who has reported that London was ranked second with a cost of $133 a square foot. The list is then followed by Tokyo, Paris, and the City of London. As is typical in the real estate segment, analysts expect the prices to increase, some to as much as 25 percent, further by the second half of this year. Prominent companies and businesses are looking towards Hong Kong’s massive growth, and naming a few are Russian finance billionaire Yuri Milner, Facebook, Zynga, and Groupon.
