The Titanic remains a source of fascination to many even a century after it first sailed and met its end. A London travel agency is now bringing enthusiasts closer to their favorite wreck by offering them the chance to see the ship’s remains up close through the use of a submersible.
“Far fewer people have visited the wreck of the Titanic than the number who have been to space or summited Mt. Everest – this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an expedition designed only for those with a truly adventurous spirit,” says the description on Blue Marble Private’s website.
The deep sea dive is part of an 8-day journey which will include 9 other adventures. The deep sea Titanic dive will take place in a specially designed titanium and carbon fiber submersible, guided by a crew of experts. The craft will glide over the ship allowing guests to view the famous grand staircase.
