Meydan City to redefine Dubai’s skyline

There is no stopping Dubai’s infrastructure growth. After announcing the unveiling of the luxurious Meydan horse racing complex, the developers of Meydan City in Dubai have already put the other major elements of the business, sporting, and lifestyle district to construction tender. The large-scale Meydan City project’s design is based on a green oasis, comprising four separate areas: the Racecourse with Meydan Hotel, Meydan Horizons, and Godolphin Park and Meydan Metropolis. Malaysian architect Teo A. Khing (TAK) is responsible for designing and consulting many of the buildings in this 200 million sq ft development. The features and amenities of the Meydan racecourse and hotel are known to all. The Meydan Horizon, spread over 15million sq ft, is designed to provide a new business and residential center as a phased development. The Horizon has its own marina and bicycle paths, canals, and pedestrian promenades. The sail-shaped Meydan Gateway Towers, along with the Horseshoe Plaza, are the key structures of the Horizons.

Metropolis, on the other hand, is designed to be the home of the world’s most powerful companies. This prestigious location hopes to woo the world’s powerful companies with business towers equipped with spacious lobbies, lush gardens, void rooftops, lobbies, and state-of-the-art high-speed elevators.
But it is the Godolphin Park that promises to draw the crowds with its unique design. The 40 story Godolphin tower features a thoroughbred horse image cut through its façade. The unique tower is expected to feature an enormous retail element in the Signature Mall, a linear 1.4 km structure with river views.
A magnificent development, each sector promises to change the skyline of Dubai.
