The Australian airline Qantas has announced a number of new enhancements to its international business class service so as to give customers a better flying experience. The most significant improvement to business class is its Duvet Sleep Service. Qantas’ new sleep service will offer customers a mattress, duvet, and a special T2 well-being tea blend designed to encourage sleep. Qantas customers will also enjoy an exclusive new amenity kit by Kate Spade New York and Jack Spade. Each kit will include a selection of luxury Malin+Goetz skincare products and the usual comfort items, such as an eye mask, earplugs, and socks.
Qantas is also testing out a new meal service called “Select on Q – Eat,” which allows Business class customers to select their meal and mealtime 72 to 24 hours prior to the flight; this service provides the customer with a much larger variety. Subject to regulatory approval of Qantas’s partnership with Emirates, they will also provide door-to-door chauffeur service for business and first-class customers on long-haul flights.
CEO of Qantas Simon Hickey has said “Qantas is focused on putting the customer at the center of everything we do, making Qantas International best for global travelers. This means listening to our customers, understanding why they fly with us and providing the best service we can.”
