From Houseboats in London and Paris to converted planes in Amsterdam and Cable Cars in the French alps, Air BNB has given us a number of ultra-exclusive one-of-a kind listings to marvel at. Their latest offering is not too shabby either. The accommodation rental website is now offering a lucky contest winner a chance to stay on a yacht docked between Ellis Island and Liberty Island.
The contest is in honor of Immigrant Heritage Month and will allow one winner and a guest to experience a curated, themed meal with a few surprise guests in Ellis Island’s Great Hall, a private after-hours tour of the Grounds and Museum and a late-night cruise aboard the Arabella yacht around the islands and Manhattan before docking for the evening. The next morning you get breakfast aboard the floating bedroom.
Of course every contest has its rules though these may be quirky enough to follow:
No late night swims to Battery Park.
No yacht races after dark.
Please don’t splash Lady Liberty. She finds it rude.
