Pre-Baselworld 2015: Hublot introduces Big Bang Ferrari Black Ceramic & Grey Ceramic watches

This year’s edition of Baselworld is round the corner and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Big Bang and 3 years of collaboration with Ferrari, Hublot has unveiled two new Big Bang Ferrari models for 2015 that will debut at the international watch fair. Named Big Bang Ferrari Black Ceramic and Big Bang Ferrari Gray Ceramic, these two new models offer what watch connoisseurs have come to expect from the Swiss luxury watchmaker in recent years – large 45mm case diameter, ceramic case and bezel, UNICO manufacture movement and beautifully skeletonized dial. The Big Bang Ferrari Black Ceramic timepiece adorns Ferrari’s legendary red color; on the other hand, the Big Bang Ferrari Grey Ceramic watch is wrapped in the historic NART (North America Racing Team) livery.

2015-hublot-big-bang-ferrari-1The watches come with a host of distinctive features that take inspiration from the cars from Maranello. The dial mimics the distinctive front grilles of a Ferrari. A honeycomb type pattern has been used for these two watches. It gives a glimpse of the bridges and main plate of the UNICO movement. The iconic prancing horse features at 9 o’clock, while the minute counter and date window appear at 3 o’clock in the colors of the Ferrari shield. They both have a 72-hour power reserve. The elongated push buttons made of titanium and rubber on the case resembles a car’s pedal. These new models will be limited to 250 pieces each.
