One of the most awaited events in the world of luxury timepieces is the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie. Abbreviated as SIHH, it is an invite-only trade show put on by The Richemont Group in collaboration with a few independent luxury brands, which is put on annually in Geneva. The event marks its 25th anniversary this year.

5. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Acoustic Research:
The brand announced the release of a new Royal Oak Concept last month, almost after eight years of extensive research. This 44 mm titanium concept includes a tourbillion and column-wheel chronograph. Its unique movement was built using the same principles as those applied in the craft of string instrument making, epitomizes a revolution in the acoustic quality of chiming watch technology. The watch face reveals a black dial with black counters, along with the new Royal Oak concept hands with luminescent coating. In addition to the minute repeater function, this concept model provides standard hours and minutes indications and a chronograph function with central sweep-seconds hand and 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. The watch is mounted on a black rubber strap with titanium folding buckle. Titled as Next Generation Minute Repeater For All, this timepiece is a huge attraction for all the watch enthusiast attending SIHH this year.
4. Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Calendar:
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Master collection derives inspiration from classic elegant vintage models but the unusual of materials brings a fresh twist to this edition. Inspired by astronomy and spice, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Calendar is made unique with stylish touches. It comes with an interesting Meteorite Dial, which incorporates fragments of a real meteorite, originating from the Asteroid Belt (the region of the Solar System located roughly between the orbits of the planets Mars and Jupiter.) Single block of meteorite stone discovered in Sweden was used to make the watch dial itself. It sets an evocative scene for the play of time: pointer-type date display, apertures for the day, month, moon phases and power reserve 5. The timepiece is available in either stainless steel (Q1558421) or pink gold (Q1552540). Measuring 39 mm in diameter, the watch is moderately sized. The case of 10.6 mm in thickness is mounted on a black alligator leather strap with either steel or 18-carat pink gold pin buckle.
3. Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days Chrono Flyback Automatic Ceramica 44mm:
This awesome watch is a perfect blend of versatility and masculinity. It features P.9100 automatic caliber and highly technical black matt ceramic case. The dial carries only the continuous small seconds counter a nine ‘o clock side by side with the date window as the rhodium-plated minute hand are centrally mounted. The crystal used in its making is the sapphire crystal formed of corundum. The case is formed of 44mm diameter with Matt Black ceramic. The strap comprises of Calf Assolutamente Dark Brown, Beige, STD, 24/22, BA, Luminor – Luminor 1950 44mm, Radiomir 1940 45mm.

Cartier’s new masterpiece, this exquisite model is created in Cartier’s new workshop Maison des Métiers d’Art, which is situated at the very heart of Swiss watchmaking industry – La Chaux-de-Fonds. It is a perfect example of exquisite craftsmanship. The filigree panthers with black lacquer spots are made of 22 karat gold and 950 platinum threads with emerald eyes. Paired with a delicate dark-blue alligator strap, the 42mm gold case is set with brilliant cut diamonds. With its extremely delicate kind of decorative metalwork, made using miniscule beads or twisted threads, which are soldered together to the surface of the metallic object, Cartier revisits the ancient technique of filigree. The Ronde Louis Cartier XL is limited to a series of 20 numbered pieces. It comes with mechanical movement with manual winding features.
1. The Montblanc TimeWalker Urban Speed Chronograph:
This year, Montblanc will be revamping the TimeWalker designs with its three new models. Montblanc’s TimeWalker collection has been a favorite among aspiring watch collectors since its inception few years back. Compared to previous TimeWalker Collection, the Urban Speed Chronograph offers sportier style. Masculinity and sporty elegance are the main attractions of this classic black and red chronograph. The brands innovative and contemporary background has inspired the integrated chronograph functions, a beautiful leather wristband created by Montblanc’s Pelleteria in Florence and large dial with Arabic numerals, while still preserving the traditional Swiss watch making techniques.
