Antiquorum Rare Audemars Piguet “Royal Oak Indianapolis F1 Grand Prix” Watch offered at September Auction

Time to add some more vintage to your collection! Antiquorum Auctioneers prepare to bring a range of Modern & Vintage Timepieces under the hammer. So what can you expect at this auction? For starters, there’s the Audemars Piguet “Royal Oak Indianapolis F1 Grand Prix” chronograph. Limited to only 2000 pieces, this rare, self-winding wristwatch is crafted in 18-carat yellow gold. What makes it more special is that three of these 2000 were created under the collaboration between Audemars Piguet and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Owners.

Estimated between $25,000 and $35,000, the watch prototypes featured the company logos. They were turned down by the Indianapolis GP winner Michael Schumacher as he was already endorsing another well-known Swiss watch brand.
