Audemars Piguet book launched to mark 136 years

Swiss Audemars Piguet is unveiling a book highlighting 136 years of its brilliant watch making tradition. Founded by watchmakers Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet in 1875, the brand today boasts almost 1,000 employs in Switzerland and the world. It displays the chronological sequences of its treasures through a richly-illustrated narrative – from history to current day. Alongside its history, it shows the many disciplines followed by the brand to create the significance it enjoys today. The book, called Audemars Piguet, features 319 pages and is published by Editions Flammarion in Paris. An English version of the book will be released next month.
