Audemars Piguet had already introduced us to the brilliance of their watch-making through its Royal Oak Limited Edition watch commemorating the companies 40th Anniversary. It has now unveiled the Extra-Thin Royal Oak Tourbillon 41mm in tribute to the sports watch launched by the company in 1972. The stunning watch features an ultra-thin case and a Calibre 2924 movement that measures just 4.46mm thick. The Royal Oak case includes a three-quarter bridge on the underside, reminiscent of the one appearing on the first extra-thin self-winding tourbillon model.
The Audemars Piguet Extra Thin Royal Oak Tourbillon in 41mm fitted with the 216-part Calibre 2924 beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and is facilitated with a 70-hour power reserve. The 41-mm diameter case is 8.85 mm thick and is water resistant up to 50 meters.
