Cartier’s Walnut Roadster debuts with wooden dial!

Falling in love time and again isn’t easy but Cartier has sworn against that fact. This time I fall in love for the 78th time with the latest iteration of Cartier’s iconic Roadster watch. One of the key reasons behind my falling could well be the fact that this is the first Cartier watch to incorporate wood into the design. The dial of the Cartier Walnut Roadster is made of a highly polished piece of burr walnut wood alike to that found as trim on certain cars and it looks as stunning as possible or maybe even more. The bracelet features small pieces of burr walnut in between the links. You choose to look official or informal by picking between the two interchangeable straps, either a bracelet or a black alligator strap.

Though a stunner of a watch, it doesn’t leave you with too much time. The Cartier Walnut Roadster is a limited edition watch with only four hundred being made, two hundred and fifty in pink gold, and one hundred and fifty in white gold. No news on pricing yet.
