Chopard L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon for Only Watch 2011unveiled in black and yellow tones


Another unique and distinct watch is all set to come from the watchmakers Chopard’s stable. This time around, it is a timepiece designed for Only Watch 2011. This Only Watch L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon runs on a proprietary L.U.C Calibre 1TRM machine. The watch was first brought to the foray to celebrate Chopard’s 150th anniversary. This time around, they have come out with a stunning black, and yellow-toned variant based on the famed automobile for the yearly Only Watch Charity Auction that will give off proceeds to the Duchenne muscular dystrophy research.

“Designed, developed, and produced by Chopard Manufacture,” the L.U.C Calibre 1TRM offers a 60-hour power reserve and 50 meters of water resistance. The 35.4 x 44.4 mm watch is set inside a DLC titanium case and a glare-proofed sapphire crystal caseback and looks just like car wings. The watch bears an engraving that reads “Only Watch 2011” on the side. The dial face sports yellow-hued Arabic numerals. The watch is finished with “hand-sewn black alligator leather lined with brown alligator leather featuring gadrooned motif and a DLC titanium pin buckle.”
