Chopard L.U.C. Strike One talks time

Strike One strikes back again! No other design has so successfully traversed the epoch of time while remaining true to itself. Chopard Manufacture in Fleurier unveils the fresh Strike One repeater. This timepiece employs Chopard’s newest caliber, the LUC 96SH, which took two years to develop. The 18kt white gold case measures 40.5mm and is offered in a limited edition of 100 pieces only to enhance its exclusivity. An opening at 12 o’clock allows viewing of the striking mechanism and of the hammer performing its strike. It strikes each passing hour exactly once. To achieve this, the mechanism provides for a period of several minutes the energy required to raise the hammer and then releases it on each passing hour.

In addition to sounding the hours, the Strike One model offers to date, hour, and minute indications, as well as small seconds, are shown on a disc through an open-worked sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The LUC caliber 96SH has a power reserve of 65 hours; it is stamped with the Geneva Seal quality hallmark and is COSC-certified as a chronometer. Hour after hour, Day after Day, this timepiece will indicate time of your choice with exemplary accuracy.
