Frédéric Chopin just turned 200! At least he would’ve if we’re alive and kicking. But since he can’t celebrate it himself, Frédérique Constant has instead decided to come out with a limited-edition collection of F. Chopin’s 2010 time pieces. The watches will bear a “classical dial” spotting a pattern resembling piano keys right at the center. The watch is also packaged inside a miniature Frédéric Chopin Piano case. The dial is 40mm in diameter and comes with a front and back sapphire crystal case. Spotting a Swiss automatic FC caliber 303 movements, the watch has a 60meter water resistance.
And since he was born in 1810, the limited edition chronograph will come in 1,810 watches in two variants each, that is, in normal steel and yellow gold plated steel.
