Girard-Perregaux launches the Cat’s Eye Tourbillon Haute Joaillerie

Women would prefer jewelry overwatches any day, and maybe that is exactly the inspiration behind Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie. Anyway, Girard-Perregaux is now all set to give all the jewelry loving women a “rare creation that combines the jeweler’s art with its watchmaking virtuosity.” The brand is out with the new Cat’s Eye Tourbillon Haute Joaillerie that features the Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon with a gold bridge adorned with an array of diamonds. The Cat’s Eye Tourbillon Haute Joaillerie spots 287 baguette-cut diamonds totaling just less than 20 carats. The watch also features a rose-cut diamond to add to its glitz. The diamond rose features 24 facets and is a rare Baroque-origin stone.

The watch is set in a white gold case with 155 baguette-cut diamonds worth 12.97 carats with a non-reflective sapphire crystal, while the dial face features another 106 baguette-cut diamonds of 4.20 carats. The crown on this 32.90 mm x 38.40 mm watch spots 12 baguette-cut diamonds and 1 rose-cut diamond of 0.58 carat. The watch also offers 3-meters of water resistance and a 72-hour power reserve. The watch is finished with a grey satin strap with a white gold pin buckle that spots 13 baguette-cut diamonds of 0.56 carat. You can also opt for a white gold folding clasp strap with 14 baguette-cut diamonds of 0.62 carats.
