Harrods celebrates one-year anniversary of its Fine Watch Room with one-off pieces

Eight high-end watch brands are creating exclusive timepieces for Harrods’s fine watch room’s, first anniversary. All of these distinctive pieces will be displayed exclusively at Salon QP. Harrods will also be sponsoring a Seminar Theatre featured on the second floor of the Saatchi Gallery and house presentations, workshops, and demonstrations during this elite three-day event. This one-of-a-kind watch collection contains eight pieces from eight unique watch houses.

Audemars Piguet created a watch, with a case made entirely of 18 carat white gold, the case and strap are both set with 621 brilliant cut diamonds. Aptly named the Ladies Tuxedo Automatique, the watch retails for $225,600.
The High Jewellery Dentelle Diamond Watch was created by Breguet and features an 18k whit gold case set with 245 diamonds, the mother of pearl dial is highlighted by another 123 diamonds. The watch is finished with a sapphire case back and white satin and alligator strap, it retails for $247,500.
Franck Muller has designed a piece with it’s signature rectangular bezel design. The case is set with diamonds and pink gold, while the numerals are set with pessartite gold dust and topaz khaki stones, thus honoring Harrods iconic green and gold colors.
At $ 111,500 the Hublot Piece Unique Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon features titanium case, an all black skeletonised interior and is based on the Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon.
For $34,600, Maurice Lacroix has created an exclusive version of it’s Masterpiece Roue Carrée Seconde design wherein the dial has been created on the movement main plate itself and decorated with a large “Grand Colimaçon.”
Roger Dubuis’s unique piece is an intricate Excalibur World Time model, that features a rose gold bezel and black alligator strap.
Vacheron’s Constantin Métiers d’Art ‘Harrods’ brings together craftsmanship in the ability to find synergy between art and Haute horology; it retails for $79,300.
Zenith introduces Christopher Columbus Charles Fleck Rose Gold Piece, which features a rose gold skeleton caliber and a sapphire dial, selling for $248,150.
