Hublot appointed as the official timekeeper for FIFA World Cup

Its celebration time for Hublot as the famed watch making brand has been selected to be the official timekeeper for the next two editions of the FIFA World Cup. A grand achievement for Hublot, it will be sponsoring the tournaments in South Africa this year and follow it up in Brazil in the year 2014. So get ready to see the Hublot logo on the referee boards every time they show substitutions and stoppage time. Besides gearing up for a lot of publicity, the Swiss watchmaker is all set to provide a limited edition official watch range for each and every tournament. What is more, these special edition watches will be signed by the brands new brand ambassador, Diego Maradona. Hublot will also create an exclusive limited edition series for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and special collections of watches associated with the this year’s South African extravaganza, from next year onwards. Once the celebrations end, it is going to be all work and no play for the folks over at Hublot.
