This year at BaselWorld, Hublot will pull covers off its first extra-thin skeleton watch, a Classic Fusion with a refined design that retains the true mark of being a Hublot chronograph. A refreshing change from the Big Bang watches, this 45 mm diameter watch features a 2.90 mm thick movement developed in-house. You can see the small seconds at 7 o’clock on the dial side, and the watch hands remind you of the very first Hublot watches, a nice historical and classic touch.
The limited-edition watch comes in two “satin finished Classic Fusion” 45-mm diameter case versions: the titanium case watch is limited to 1000 units, while an 18-carat King Gold variant is limited to just 500 pieces. The watch boasts of a 90-hour power reserve and 50-meter water resistance. The watch also sports a Sapphire dial face with silvered or red gold Hublot logo. It is finished with a Black alligator strap stitched onto black rubber with a clasp-based buckle in black PVD steel or 18K red gold, depending on which model you pick.
