Jaeger-LeCoultre joins as a sponsor of World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses

80 years ago, a small group of men with great innovative minds created a watch with a dial that could protect itself from shocks, all the while offering a personalized engraved case-back, which came to be known as a Reverso. Born with a million possibilities, this idea has stayed alive after all these years, improving with every design and personal to suit the owner. Engraved according to the wishes of their owners, most often with initials or designs making it as unique as the owner. Today, wearing a Reverso on your wrist is an entry to an exclusive world – not only in terms of watchmaking history but above all to a universe of technical perfection and aesthetic refinement.

The archives of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture contain the remains of hundreds of Reverso’s that have been hand engraved to suit the owner. The Swiss watch wonder has signed a 2-year sponsor agreement with the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses (WBFSH), the only international federation of studbooks for sport horses in the world. Agreeing to promote the ranking of WBFSH and support the Federations activities. Every month the WBFSH/FEI ranking of each discipline is updated on the website, providing official information on every horse competing at the international level all around the world. At the end of the year, the breeders of the winning horses will be presented the WBFSH Breeding prize at various international competition events in the country of the respective prize-winning members.
