Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils a collection of stunning timepieces


Jaeger-LeCoultre has unveiled several new and exquisite timepieces to kick start the New Year. At the ongoing SIHH 2010, the luxury watchmaker has introduced seven new models to its Jewellery and High Jewellery collections and two new models to its Atmos Collection. Every new piece exudes the timeless class and luxury that Jaeger LeCoultre is synonymous with. The new additions to the High Jewellery Collection as well as the Atmos collection are as follows.


The Master Lady Tourbillon Feathers timepiece is a beautifully decorated timepiece with its bezel and Caliber 978 with its tourbillon encircled in diamonds. An exceptional piece, it exudes luxury courtesy of geometric marquetry of brilliant-cut diamonds, mother-of-pearl, and real feathers. The timepiece is available in two versions: pink gold and white gold.
The new version of the Reverso Squadra Lady Automatic is a timepiece for the woman of today. The 18carat pink gold watch glitters with a double row of 36 round diamonds. A white mother-of-pearl dial displays the hours and minutes along with a day/night indicator while power is provided by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 967 automatic mechanical movement. The Haute High Jewellery Collection also flaunts two new timepieces for the sophisticated lady of today, the Reverso Squadra Lady Duetto Haute Joaillerie and the Reverso Squadra Lady Art.
The new version of the Reverso Duetto in steel flaunts a second-time zone. The exquisite timepiece sports an Art Deco design on the front refinement on the back, highlighted by a double row of diamonds. Complemented by a satin or leather strap, the Reverso Duetto Duo is powered by the hand-wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 854.
The Master Compressor Diving GMT Lady Céramique is a timepiece for the adventurous woman who refuses to compromise on luxury. A real diving instrument, this Haute timepiece boasts of new materials like the ceramic that surrounds its Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 971D movement. The stunning timepiece screams for attention with its diving dial set with 16 full-cut diamonds.
Australian designer Marc Newson has reinvented a stunning timepiece for the Atmos Collection. The beautiful timepiece housed in Baccarat crystal case boasts of a new movement, the Jaeger-LeCoultre 566 Calibre, which indicates the hours and minutes and displays the month, equation of time, and a splendid view of the night sky as viewed from the Northern Hemisphere. It also indicates the cardinal points and astrological signs. The timepiece is available in two limited editions: a series of 48 in Baccarat crystal and a series of 28 in blue Baccarat crystal.
Lastly, the Atmos Re-edition is a timepiece that draws its inspiration from a historical piece in the 1930’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Heritage Gallery. Paying tribute to the clocks creator, Jean-Léon Reutter, the Re-edition, in steel, glass, and the air is a display of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s fine watch-making skills mastery. An exclusive creation, this clock is limited to just 300 units only.
