Another luxury watchmaking brand turns a golden new year for one of its well-revered watches and has decided to celebrate the milestone in style. As the 1931 Reverso from Jaeger-LeCoultre turns 80, the company has unveiled a limited edition version of the classic watch for the US markets only. The unsigned and unnumbered watches feature the “original typeface for the “Reverso” font at 12:00” and colored glowing dial markers with point tip hands.
The specialty of these 100-pieces only lies in the watch strap. They come with a custom made and hand sewn leather strap created by the Argentina-based Fagliano family who specialize in making polo boots. The straps will be stamped with the text “1931-2011”. This US special watch is priced at $7,250 each.
