Jaeger-LeCoultre’s iPhone Application allows users to explore various stages of watch making

After Breitling, it is now the turn of another luxury watchmaker to charm customers with its iPhone application. The aforementioned luxury watchmaker is none other than Jaeger-LeCoultre who has created an App that aims to share the fascinating world of fine watch making with the public. IPhone owners get a chance to explore the various stages in creating a watch through this application. They have access to a particularly comprehensive dictionary of horology and to six watch initiation classes. What is more, you can choose from the brands most iconic models like Reverso Squadra to the Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2, along with the Master Compressor Diving Pro Geographic. The classes will enable users to practice various watch making techniques on their screen like assembling a chronograph mechanism, decorating and jewelling a movement (where you are expected to gem-set a Reverso Neva making no mistakes and in record time), polishing, engraving and gem-setting a case.

The watch classes are displayed at a rate of one new class every two weeks. At the end of all the lessons a prize draw will reward one of the learners having correctly answered all three competition questions. The winner will be offered a guided tour of the Manufacture located in the Vallée de Joux.
The unique application gives users a chance to explore and test 60 different models. Besides that, the application also provides a function that identifies the Jaeger-LeCoultre points of sale in the country or city of your choice and enables you to locate them instantly.
