Limited edition TAG Heuer Monaco V4 in platinum to celebrate 150th anniversary


TAG Heuer is commemorating its 150th anniversary by presenting the platinum version of TAG Heuer Monaco V4. Only 150 of this limited edition watch will be available. Tagged at 100,000 Swiss Francs ($96,500), this timepiece celebrates the brand’s hundred and fifty-year-old history with style. Housed in a 40.5 mm platinum case, the dial sports seven silver fine-brushed bridges with “Haute Horlogerie” hand-finishing. A small blue second hand at 4 stands apart from the rhodium-plated blue minute and hour hands. Coming to its working, the movement is an automatic belt-driven transmission watch with Tungsten ingot linear mass and two pairs of barrels in series, set in parallel, and linked by belts. Apart from time, the escapement and belt-driven transmission are also visible from the front through the AR-coated sapphire crystal. It is water-resistant up to 50 meters. Fasten it on your wrist with an alligator strap and platinum buckle as it boasts of an 18kt white gold crown. Half of this limited edition will be available right in time for Christmas in November, and the rest 75 pieces will be released to celebrate the New Year in January 2010. Right in time for celebrations!
