It’s gorgeous. It’s masculine, and it’s back to entice you with its good looks. It’s the Louis Vuitton Tambour Diving II. That’s right buddy, if you had missed the first iteration of this LV watch, here’s your chance to own one again. And don’t worry, it won’t be the old one, but a refreshed version of the original 2005 debutant, the Tambour Diving. This new Tambour carries on the same skeletonized hour and minutes hands, as well as the “dive flag” motif for the small seconds subdial at the 6 o’clock position. There is also a uni-direction bezel set with “LOUIS VUITTON” letters in rubber to make for easier grasping of the bezel. But the real USP of this watch is the selection of combinations it comes in: steel case/black dial (men’s 44mm and women’s 39.5mm sizes), steel case/blue dial, and a limited edition pink gold case/blue dial/red bezel.
Clearly the makers have put in more for a discerning eye to appreciate. The watch is all set to hit Louis Vuitton boutiques across world in January 2011.
