What’s with those who make watches these days? There isn’t much of the classy touch left in the hands of the craftsmen and this has resulted into a new revolution of pulling back some inspiration from yesterday. And that’s just what Maitres du Temps’ Chapter One collection has to flaunt. It has a tourbillion mechanism for accuracy, a mono-pusher chronograph, retrograde date and displays Greenwich Mean Time. Besides the time you can also keep track of the phases of the moon and the day of the week. The sophistication in mechanism is also reflected in the design that is along the same line.
The Maitres du Temps’ Chapter One watch costs $400,000. It is created and designed by Christophe Claret, Peter Speake-Marin and Roger Dubuis.
