Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours watch

Montblanc is all set for the introduction of its new model in the Nicolas Rieussec line, the Rising hours. The specialty of the watch is a day/night indicator in which the hour numerals change color depending on the night and day time. The numerals have been assigned the color pale blue during night time and black indicating the day time. The new Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours depends on two discs, one atop the other used for day/night indication.

The exterior looks of the watch clearly announce its inheritance from the Montblanc family but with a unique style of its own. The Rising Hours is available in 950 platinum and stainless steel variants. The platinum variant is available only in 28 timepieces. What enhances the look is the grey alligator leather strap with a white gold folding buckle. The Montblanc Rieussec line starts at around $11,000 and is surely an attractive offering of the brand. We now need to wait for how much this particular one will be priced and whether the unusual day/night indicator appeals to the Montblanc watch lovers.
