Omega introduces Seamaster Diver 300M Co-Axial Chronograph ETNZ watch for 2015 America’s Cup

Omega has released a new version of their Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph in celebration of their sponsorship of the America’s Cup ETNZ team (Emirates Team New Zealand). And without a doubt we must say that this latest iteration of the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph is one of the best looking Seamaster 300m watches ever. The black and grey tones along with red mimic the colors of the ETNZ racing yacht. The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph ETNZ comes in a 44mm-wide grade 5 titanium case and has a black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel with a polished diving scale whose indications have been created in relief using laser ablation. There is a dot at the top of the bezel at 12 o’clock, which is coated with white SuperLuminova and emits a green light.

The case of the Chronograph has pushers at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock that stand out with a red aluminum ring and matte black ceramic ring. In fact, all of the elements that correspond to the chronograph function are colored in red. The caseback features the ETNZ logo engraved on it. The dial is sandblasted titanium with applied indices coated with white SuperLuminova that emits a blue light. The chronograph function operates normally but there is a special “regatta-style” hand on the chronograph minutes counter that runs over an outer track to allow for the 5-minute countdown before the start. The watch comes on a rubber strap with a fold-over clasp. The top part of the strap is black and has a ribbed pattern, while the underside of the strap is red and has a design that is reminiscent of the sails on the team’s boat. The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Co-Axial Chronograph ETNZ watch is available on sale and is priced at $7,800.
