The Speedmaster has many accolades attached to it, especially after Buzz Aldrin first stepped on the moon in 1969 wearing an Omega Speedmaster Professional. Well, the Speedmaster has been associated with the NASA space mission ever sing May 1963 anyway. But in 2010, Omega has decided to add another feature in its cap at the Pre-BASEL 2010. Omega has come up with the diamond-studded 38 mm Speedmaster wristwatches for women extruding robust sportiness and elegance.
Similar to the Speedmaster Professional the new chronograph will also spot a stainless steel case, but will have an 18 carat pink gold bezel ring paved with 54 diamonds to give it a more feminine touch and delicate feel. The date window can be seen at the 6 o’clock position on the dial. It will also feature a specially-treated grey alligator leather strap. Running on the OMEGA caliber 3304 self-winding mechanical movement, the watch is also a COSC-certified timepiece.
