It was back in 2004 that Swiss watchmaker Parmigiani first collaborated with Bugatti to come up with limited edition watch and since then the two brands have come together several times to produce a range of avant garde timepieces and mesmerize watch connoisseurs with their unique designs. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the partnership, the two luxury brands have come up with a series of three unique watches. The Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe timepiece is one of three piece unique watches which will be unveiled this weekend during the Pebble Beach Concours de Elegance auto show events. Two additional anniversary limited edition watch models will debut sometime later this year.
The Bugatti Mythe is based on the iconic Bugatti 370 model and demonstrates the brand’s cutting-edge creative spirit and the quest for technical excellence which made it possible. The watch is powered by caliber PF370, which features manual winding using a dynamometric starter. The cylindrical shaped 18K rose-gold case measures 32.40 by 52.50 by 18.6 mm, and has a satin and polished hammered finish. The movement beats at 3Hz, has 314 total components, 37 of which are jewels, and a 10-day power reserve, thanks to 2 series-coupled barrels. The main plate is decorated with circular graining and is hand beveled. The Bugatti Mythe is presented on a black Hermes calf skin strap with rose gold folding buckle and the price of the watch is set at $ 430,000.
