Patek Philippe has introduced its unique timepiece for the Only Watch 2015 charity auction, and it is a stunner! The luxury watchmaker has created a special version of its Reference 5016, one of Patek Philippe’s most complicated and most sought after watches ever. Reference 5016 was produced between 1993 and 2011. The Reference 5016A-010 is a grand complication with all the bells and whistles. This one-of-a-kind edition combines a minute repeater, a tourbillon and a perpetual calendar with retrograde date. The blue enamel dial with applied gold Breguet numerals looks beautiful and it is framed by a 36.80 mm stainless steel Calatrava-style case.
Movement is the Swiss manual-wind Patek in-house caliber RTO 27 PSQR with 28 jewels and is exquisitely finished just like its predecessors. The one-minute tourbillon is visible through the display back and resides in a polished steel cage. The repeater mechanism is also visible through the display back. The moonphase is accurate to one day in 122 years. It comes on a navy blue alligator leather strap with a steel fold-over clasp. The Patek Philippe 5016A-010 for Only Watch will be on sale together with other 42 unique timepieces, at the auction taking place on 7 November 2015 in Geneva.
