Being a fan of men’s watches, I have always fancied a slightly rectangular, not-so-feminine and sporty watch for my own self. Philip Patek’s Nautilus Timepiece Collection for 2009 is the replica of my imagination. Women can enjoy the beauty and versatility of the elegantly sporty luxury watch icon now in a revised version of an enlarged 32mm case and silver or anthracite dials that feature a horizontal motif. The watches are available in 18 karat white or pink gold with a classical vertically brushed finish, resulting from the painstaking hand finishing. The eight-sided porthole bezel is also available to set with 46 round brilliant diamonds, and both models feature sapphire crystals and are water-resistant to 60 meters.
The bracelet follows the characteristic design theme of nautilus models with a brushed outer link and a curved, polished center link suggestive of a polished pebble. The Patek Philippe Ladies Nautilus watches are equipped with a battery-powered E 23 SC quartz caliber with a stop-seconds function.
