As Tag Heuer embarks on their third run as the Official Timekeeper of Manchester United, the company has debuted two new models that celebrate the soccer clubs spirit. The Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 and a Tag Heuer Formula 1 are both special editions, but they are not limited editions so you can take your time determining which one you like best.
The Carrera Heuer 01 is immediately the most eye catching thanks to that bold red perforated rubber strap. This 43mm watch features an anthracite skeleton dial, and the team’s crest at 9 o’clock. The team’s name is seen on the bezel and their logo is also on the sapphire crystal caseback.
Meanwhile the Formula 1 is instantly subtler and less “sporty” with it black rubber strap. However subtle red details are seen on the watch hands and indices. The tachymeter scale on the bezel has black numerals to contrast against the red ones on the dial. This model is powered by a quartz movement, and has a steel caseback engraved with the Manchester United crest. The Formula 1 is water resistant to 200m.
The Formula 1 is priced at $ 1,550 while the Carrera Heuer 1 is priced at $ 5,750. Both can be purchased online at tagheuer.com.
