Tag Heuer’s limited edition Carrera Calibre 1887 Time Machine Nendo Japan sports vintage hands

Tag Heuer seems to have mastered the art of mixing old-school design concepts with those from the modern world. The recently released Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Time Machine Nendo Japan Limited Edition is a one-of-a-kind wristwatch created in collaboration with Japan-based design company Nendo. The company is popularly known as the brains behind shoe store designs, graphics and advertising. In its recent jaunt with Tag Heuer, Nendo has managed to gracefully blend the old and the new. While the watch sports a typical chronograph look, it’s the hands that stand out. Instead of the conventional modern minimalist hands, this Tag Heuer sports vintage tickers!

To further extend the vintage theme, Tag Heuer has also given the watch box the look of an old book. The watch comes with a red bookmark and a paper knife, both of which are designed to replicate the vintage hands of the watch. Apart from all of this, the watch also comes with a glass clock stand, handcrafted from an antique jar. The watch uses a 43mm-wide steel case and comes with a black ceramic bezel, black dial and a steel bracelet. Only 250 pieces of this watch will be sold, each priced at approximately $4,600!
