Tag Heuer Mikrotimer Flying 1000 is the fastest chronograph ever made

TAG Heuer managed to carve yet another mark for itself in the milestone with the unveiling of what seems to be the world’s fastest watch ever built. Now watches all tick the same, and measuring the speed of a watch sure as hell isn’t counted on the hand-movements. What makes the TAG Heuer Mikrotimer Flying 1000 Concept watch the fastest in the world, however, is its mechanisms, so accurate and fine-tuned that it tracks time to a 1/1000th of a second, 300 times faster than the human blink! Measuring 1/1000ths of a second at 500 Hz, the watch’s small balance wheel inside goes back and forth 3.6 million times an hour! And for a device of this size that clocks faster than any sports car around when it comes to the speed of its mechanisms, this watch is a marvel of technology and timepiece-designing indeed!
