Ulysse Nardin launches a new collection of exquisite watches exclusively for women, paying tribute to their female clientele. A watchmaker known for its innovation in watchmaking has an impressive portfolio of watches, the likes of Skeleton Tourbillon and limited edition Voyage Bleu Chronograph, among other affluent pieces that have dazzled us. Its new collection features it’s first in-house designed and produced self-winding caliber for women. And the highlight among this collection is a Jade timepiece.
We could say that Ulysse Nardin has been too considerate towards women while creating their new collection of watches. Of course, it was Chai Schnyder, Chairwoman of Ulysse Nardin, who requested that a watch be made for ladies that don’t need pushing or pulling the crown to set the date and time; that too so that their manicure might not be affected. How thoughtful of the brand that it considered such a silly petition. However, thanks to Schnyder, and the in-house produced “first in the world” Caliber UN-310 by the brand, women need not fidget with the crown, rather can use a pusher provided at four o’clock to adjust the time and date.
More so, the star watch in the series, the Jade version, is set in precious stones like jade and diamonds, making the watch even more alluring and fascinating. Four exquisite jade horns flank the bezel at the lug, and apart from that, a mixture of jade and diamonds encrusts the bezel in an elegant snow setting. The watch also flaunts a mother-of-pearl dial, which is also adorned with diamonds. In addition, Ulysse Nardin will enthrall enthusiasts with other pieces from the collection, including a simpler version of the timepiece comprised of diamonds and sapphires. The collection also marks the use of silicium technology, which was first introduced with the Ulysse Nardin Freak limited edition.
Other features of the watch include 41 jewels, approx. 48hr power reserve, mechanical self-winding, 413 diamonds, 18ct rose gold or white gold case, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and 30m water resistance.
