Vacheron Constantin commemorating a decade of Overseas Collection

If a watch was merely a tool to tell time, this review would never have been written! Vacheron Constantin has given us the fine world of horology, where simply telling the time has been elevated to an art form. Commemorating a decade of the Overseas collection, Vacheron Constantin is launching four new models – a yellow gold chronograph to compliment the steel model and three totally new dual time watches. Conceived in the spirit of the age, the second-generation OVERSEAS combines discretion and self-assured good looks. Introduced in 1996, the Overseas design by Vacheron Constantin instantly made its mark with utter distinction, quickly winning recognition as one of the most accomplished timepieces in its class. The new generation naturally perpetuates the inspired blend of technology and aesthetics born in 1996, this time with even more smoothly flowing lines.

The Overseas Dual Time is available in 18kt yellow gold (with silver dial), a stainless steel version (with either a black or silver dial), and a limited edition of 250 pieces in 18kt rose gold with a chocolate dial. The Ref. 47450 is powered by the automatic Vacheron calibre VC-1222 with a soft-iron antimagnetic screen. It has a power reserve of 40 hours and it is water-resistant to 150 meters. The Ref. 49150 is the 18kt yellow gold chronograph, previously only available in stainless steel. Movement is the automatic Vacheron calibre VC-1137 with a soft-iron antimagnetic screen. It is water-resistant to 150 meters.
