Zenith has joined the trend of all-black watches with their El Primero Tourbillon Skeleton Intense Black timepiece. We recently saw Tag Heuer debut an all-black model, but Zenith’s seems to be sportier and more casual with its ceramic case and rubber strap combo. The black ceramic case measures 45mm x 14.6mm and has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and a sapphire display back. It is water resistant to 50 meters.
The heart of the watch is the Swiss automatic Zenith in-house caliber El Primero 4035B with 35 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. The watch includes a one minute tourbillon as well as two chronograph counters.
Cool details on the watch include the hands which are ruthenium-plated, faceted and coated with SuperLuminova and the black rubber strap with a black PVD-coated titanium triple folding clasp. This model is reportedly priced at $47,600.
